Ella's First Train!

Ella made her first train trip yesterday! She and I made our way to Illinois via the Amtrak. With so many people and scenery flying by, you can only imagine how much Ella loved it. Eating is one of her favorite things in life and with all the things going on, she even had trouble finishing her bottle!!

Grandma Heikes and Daddy were in Galesburg at the station waiting for our arrival. We then met Grandpa Heikes at Club 41 (a local restaurant) for dinner. While we were awaiting GPaPa, Ella convinced her Daddy that she should get to drive. She is going to love the steering wheel!

We are enjoying a rainy and lazy day in Illinois today! Going to go meet cousin Avery tonight... my cousin Carrie's new baby girl.

Kamille
PS. Our neighbors Heather and Ryan had their baby this past Thursday!! They had little baby boy Nicholas Cary. He looks like his Mama. Precious!

Catching up on all the latest Photos.....

Where has summer gone? Seems like yesterday little Miss Ella fit between my elbow and wrist.....and look at her now!.....
don't worry....this only happens when I feed her.....Kamille is MUCH more efficient!....
talk about efficiency.....someone likes to "do it herself".....I think we may have a strong willed woman on our hands.....hmmm I wander where she gets that from??
look at me.....we just took this picuture this morning...almost 7 months old!!....Won't be long and she'll be moving and shaking....No worries....Kamille and I are crawling around house, in attempt to "Ella proof it".....

A visit from the Breuer's....

Uncle Jeremy trying to teach her how to go down the stairs.....
Visit from the Heikes'....hanging with big cuz Broc
taking a little nap with Papa H.

And.....finally but certainly not least.....hanging with Dad after bath time....

Well...that does it for today, hope you enjoyed the latest and greatest...Woke up this morning to October like weather. For some reason it went from the HEAT of August to the cool fall feelings of October.....
Hope all is well on everyone's home front...Talk Later, Jason

Long overdue.....

This labor day weekend was spent in the garage....I was lucky enough to have my helper's.....

Helper #1......

Helper# 2....

We started by taking EVERYTHING out of the garage, which was a project in its self!... once all was out in the driveway (which looked like white trash)...we then painted the walls white....next we painted the trim grey, along with the concrete sidewalls. Finally we coated the floor with tan epoxy. It turned out VERY well.....

take a look....

Kamille and I have learned that our projects take much more time now then they used to!....Little helper #2, sometimes has a mind of her own...All in all she did great, and loved watching from her swing!...

Hope everyone had a great labor day...

Talk later, Jason
