It was awesome having Bambi, Brad, Bailey & Broc here this past weekend for Easter. We haven't seen them since Thanksgiving and we missed them so much. It was also great to finally have a weekend that we could do some grilling and sitting on the deck finally!! We are itching for this summer!!!

The boys did some "ground work" with the "equipment". This is Jason's current version of farming... and he LOVES the fact that he has toys to play with finally. The driveway has been in some serious need of work since the snow has been turning it into a muddy mess. Brad was our weighting to ensure proper ground engagement. After working the "ground", we ordered up a load of gravel and we can now drive into our garage without bringing in half the driveway with us. (Yes Dad, I know how proud you are of your two son-in-laws.) Thanks to Brad for teaching Jason to tape and texture the basement bathroom! We hope to have that complete here in the next few weeks!
Thanks to Bambi (otherwise I doubt this would have happened), Ella participated in her first Easter egg hunt. Ella caught on immediately! We were amazed how well she did. She loves putting items into containers, so this activity was right up here alley. She gathered up about 16 eggs and drug her basket around to all the eggs she could find! It was really fun! We got video, but have yet to take it to the editing room to post on here. Hope to get it up soon.

As you can see things are still pretty dead around here yet. No green really to speak of yet. I hope this is going to change quickly. We are supposed to get all the way up to 60 today!!! I don't know what I am going to do with myself having 60 degree weather!!!!!!!!! Don't worry... it will immediately drop off to 40's through the rest of the week and weekend. Just giving us a little taste and then ripping it away. Hateful mother nature.
Jason has his first night clinic this evening. And of course it is his furthest southeast dealer he has so he will be getting home late. No dinner with the girls. But at least his territory is manageable enough to make it home every night!!
In other news... Mom & Dad made it home yesterday from Anne Mette's wedding in Denmark. They had a great time and I can't wait to go home and see pictures and hear stories. I am so glad to have them home. The entire time they were gone I kept picking up the phone to call one of them and remembered I couldn't get a hold of them... it was terrible! I glad to have them only a phone call away again. Too bad we are still 12 hrs away. Boo.
