Well... we are finally here, in the blogging world. Since Ella's arrival, we have had numerous requests for a website. Here it finally is. We now realize, however, how no one really cared to know what was going on with us until she came along ;-)
Ella is 11 weeks old today and we can't believe she is already about 3 months old. I bought some infant spoons today and Jason about flipped. Of course, couldn't talk about it because that would mean he would have to acknowledge that she is about to be eating cereal soon. I think Daddy is going to have a hard time with milestones... but he isn't wrapped around her tiny little fingers... No~ Not at ALL!
Mommy is also have a hard time this week to though. This is my last week at home with Ella for my maternity leave. I find myself wanting to hold her every minute of the day to soak it all in. However, for the sake (and sanity) of both Grandma's (they will be watching her for the next two weeks) I am holding myself back.
Ella had a GREAT day today! She slept in til 6~WO HO for sleep!!!!! And was pretty much all smiles today, even during her ultrasound. (Done on her hips... no need to worry.. just precautionary stuff!) We are totally spoiled with a wonderful little girl.
We often times are freaked out that we are parents of the precious little gift from above and can't believe how beautiful she is!! Being a family is so wonderful. We were just disussing tonight about what on earth we did around here before she came along. We are beginning to not remember what life was like without Ella... we wouldn't want to imagine it either.
I now need to go wake up the other two members of the family for bath time and then for bed..one more thing... she LOVES her bath time. May get a video of it sometime and post it~ she is going to kill us for some of the things we document!!
