Mommy & Daddy Wedding Weekend
So imagine. Here we are traveling down the road, car all packed up, Ella letting us know (quite verbally) that she wants to watch a movie and Jaden letting us know (quite LOUDLY) that he, as a matter of fact, does not want the bottle that I am trying to give him. Jason and I have been looking forward to our friends Lisa & Jake's wedding in Kansas City since the evening I got the phone call they were engaged. And this is how the weekend was started. And then it hits me... the CAMERA! Nope. Neither one of us grabbed at least one of the very nice cameras we have in the house. I had to take mental photos of the whole weekend. I wish I could share them with you... they are phenomial. I am simply relying on the power of Facebook to provide some of the photos to me. Here are a couple to share...
Classic Lisa & Kamille.
Out following the Rehearsal Dinner. Awesome catching up with old friends.
The BEAUTFUL Bride & Handsome Jake. (And the cake is for you Mom.)
Us at the wedding. So far the only photo of the 2 of us.
What a great night! My legs were actually a little sore from dancing. It was fun to cut loose with Jason and friends for an evening.
The kids spent the weekend at Grandma & Grandpa Breuer's. And we were so thankful for them being willing to spoil watch them for the weekend. I know Ella had a blast!Every time we now get in the car in the evening and tell her we are just going for a car ride, she is for sure the trip will again end at "Grandma Judy's House".
Jason & I are running in the GoFar Challenge this weekend in the Fargo Marathon events. Friday night 5K and Saturday morning 10K. I think we are ready. Mom will be coming up to run with us on Friday. She is my inspiration to keep fit for the rest of my life. I won't tell her age... but she is no where near resembling it. We have been training with our friend Dori and she has done a great job getting us kicked into shape. She and her husband will be running with us too! I will be packing a much lighter load than I would have a few months ago. As of yesterday I reached a total lose of 30 lbs!! This could not have been done without the awesome support of Jason. He has been my cheerleader and mental coach through much of this. I am excited that I feel great and looking forward to getting more fit and trim with Dori. Can you tell?.. she is awesome! She has really got me focused back on weight training!
Maybe will have some photos from the weekend I can post. In the meantime, we are enjoying totally awesome weather and loving waking up with the windows open again! Ella is loving the freedom of going in and out of the house because it "is sooo nice out, Mommy". She makes me smile.

Nap Time!
I came home yesterday afternoon and caught my girls taking a nap! How Precious!
The weather has been absolutely BEAUTIFUL, the past ten days. Ella is loving being able to run and play with her "outside" toys. Jaden had his 5 month birthday yesterday, he is beginning to grow like a weed, finally! We started giving him rice cereal yesterday and he loved it! Kamille is anxiously awaiting Lisa's wedding in a week, she has been adhearing to the weight watchers point system stricter than a recovering alcholic going to AA meetings. I am very proud of her for loosing the weight, my fear is that it has now become an addiction and she is going to "blow" away in a few more months.
As for myself, I have been busy talking planting/seeding for the last week or so, it is nice to finally quit talking about it, and actually working with it! For those of you that need a planting progress report, the sugar beets are 60 to 70 % complete with 5 to 10% emerged. Small grains are 75 to 90% complete in the Valley with a few points less in the central part of the state. Some wheat is starting to emerge as well. I was talking with a farmer yesterday that said he doesn't remember the last time there was a spring like this, he thought maybe '89 was this early! Most people are going to wait until around the 10th of May to put in their soy and edible beans as they are much more susceptable to frost.
Well, i think that about covers it, have a good weekend, Jason

Weekend in Iowa
The ole wise tell of April showers bring May flowers isn't holding true for this spring, so far! This weekend, Kamille met up with friends in KC for a wedding plannning party, while the kids and I decided to hangout at Grandma Judy and Papa Breuer (as Ella would say). The weather has been absolutely GORGEOUS outside. Ella has been so excited she doesn't know who to play with. Sara came over and painted her toes, she thought that was "very fun". She also helped Grandma Judy bake chocolate chip coookies, she said that was "this exciting". She also spent some time outside, on the 4-wheeler with Grandpa and LOVES driving thru the concrete culvert. Oh, and she rode with me hauling corn to town, once she found out that the elevator lady gave her a sucker, she was all about that! Oh, and she found out that the neigbors have a trampoline, she had fun playinng with Katie and Jacob. I am sure i am missing some other activities, but these were the highlights! Here are some pic's we grabbed the last couple of days.
Kylee and Jaden had a fun time hanging out on the patio.
Grandma Judy and her girls!
Kadence and Ella, love playing together.
Kylee and Ella attempting to make the car a "two seater"
Ella is planting a big ole kiss on Kylee
That's all for now. Hope everyone is enjoying the spring weather, Jason

Easter 2010
Although we were not with either one of our families this year, we did manage to have a great Easter. The weather was beautiful! And we had the chance to invite some friends over to our house for the day. One of Ella's favorite people here, Holly, and our neighbors all joined us for our Easter lunch and egg hunt.
Jaden enjoyed his Easter Sunday by sleeping it away. I think the boy was up only about 5 hours the whole day. He has to be growing with all of the bottles and naps he has been taking lately. We are working on our rolling. He almost gets there and just can't seem to figure out what to do with that arm to let him go the rest of the way. Still skinny little man. If all he has on is a diaper, it manages to work its way almost off. He has no meat on his bones to keep them up! He is such a happy guy! Cool as a cucumber. Love his presence..
Spring is on the way! I find myself having more and more energy these days! I am not sure if it is the end of winter and coldness that is giving me my spunk or all this baby weight I have managed to work off! I started Weight Watchers at the beginning of the year and have been a fairly committed to my workouts. It is working! It has been fun "shopping" in my closet again! I do have a goal. 1 May.. Lisa's wedding! I am keeping that dress in mind with every workout. We are very much looking forward to her wedding and I think I will enjoy it much more not worrying about any baby weight being left over.
Jason has been keeping very busy with work. I am worried for when the planters start going again this year. I am pretty sure we won't be seeing to much of him. He has joined me in my workouts this past week. We are in a running 'class' at the gym and he is working on getting back to his Kansas City Corporate Challenge physique!
My Lasik~ I am really enjoying not having to wear my glasses any more! Still adjusting to not having them or needing to find them to put on... still a little strange. I am going to be honest with anyone thinking about it.. the first 4 hours I was really questioning my decision. Not comfortable at all. However, I have been healing quite nicely and enjoying seeing even clearer and farther now than I ever did with my glasses. The whole process it amazing!
Ella had such a great day. I actually loosend up a bit and allowed more chocolate and candy to enter that little body than I usually do. I am working on releasing my reins on her! She loved and it was fun watching her enjoy her Easter candy. However, this little girl could NOT go to sleep! She exited her room for the last time last night at 10:50 pm. Her eyes were wide open! Gonna be a while til we have that much sugar again.
Ella is talking up a storm. There are days I just listen to her and really have to wonder where she learns half of what she says. The other day I made a cake. As I shut the oven door she yelled out "Amen!". She is my child.. I could not have put it any better.
She is so smart! And her memory is amazing! She can count pretty much (with a few numbers left out every now and then) to 10. Knows her colors and even knows a few letters! She amazes me! Now if we could just get the potty thing down. She just thinks it is so fun to be in the bathroom still. I just can't manage to get the novelty of it over with. Once we get past that, I think we are good to go with ditching the diapers!

For those of you who have been following this little blog from the beginning (pretty much our parents), do you remember this photo of our little peanut?
That is all for now.. I will try to get back on here later. Oh yes and for those of you who might be concerned about my eyes... yes I can see. Very well in fact.
More to come...
Well that little peanut now has a little brother. At first I didn't think they looked alike... however after evaulating this below I think my mind could be changed.
More to come...
