Turkey is on and the Egg is piping!!

Turkey is on.... Now for the family just to arrive. I have my "Little Princess of the Kitchen in training" have the meal almost finished preparing. Now for oven time and hungry bellies! Hope everyone is having safe travels.  Enjoy some photos below.  Happy Thanksgiving Jason.

Well, he took awhile to get here... even took eviction!.. But he is here now! A BOY! We are so happy to have our little man. So far he is a great eater and a calm fella... except when he is cold. We don't like to be cold.

We are all home now and doing well. Tired.. to be expected. Ella just can't get enough of him. She has for sure given him the most kisses any proud big sister could give any little brother. She is even attempting to say Jaden or brother. Not exactly clear yet, but she is working toward it.

My (Kamille's) family is all on their way here as we speak. We are just to excited to add a boy to this family. Girls have just completely taken over. I am sure Broc & Drew will enjoy one more 'man' around. Mom & Dad now have 10 grand babies!! Wow!  And Glennis and Judy went from zero to 3! in just under 2 years! What an explotion!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Enoy that yummy turkey!... and potatoes~ we hope they came from North Dakota!

This is for the requests from family/friends who have requested to see this pregnant belly. We are ready. House ready. Probably more emotionally ready than mentally, if you understand what I am saying. We are so excited to meet this little one and find out if Ella will be having a brother or sister. However, are ever REALLY ready for a newborn in the house? I don't think so...

Ella is getting so BIG! I know she is going to seem ever bigger once the new one gets here. 

Ah yea. Still Waiting

After today I will officially be more pregnant than I have my entire life. We are 10 days out from our due date, which is the day that Ella arrived to us. Yes, I am physically limited more than normal. However I do believe I am getting to that mental point that it would be in the best interest of everyone in this household for this baby to be evicted. I think I have driven Jason past crazy, he is back now... and working on crazy again. I think I have cleaned this house 4 times. Just completed the kitchen... again.

The good news is that Ella has been a great little girl for us during this time. She does get a little cranky, but that is usually only when she is tired or hungry. Remind you of anyone???!?!?!... her Daddy! She has been talking a TON. She tries all kinds of words throughout the day. This morning I was folding clothes and she was really trying to tell me something. I didn't understand her so, of course, I ignored her. Well that just wasn't good enough. She walked up to me, said "Mommy." Grabbed either side of my face with her precious little hands, got right in my face and said "Iaiosdjfadskj Ijdfkadjf ERWEr?" I still have no idea what it was she wanted. So I just grabbed her cheeks right back and gave a big ole kiss and said "Ella, Mommy loves you so much." That seemed to do the trick. She went right back to her rocking chair and books and continued with the story she was "reading" to me.

Weather here has been AMAZING! I actually have the kitchen window open right now. I never thought I would be in t-shirt and windows open, 48 degrees outside and saying 'gorgeous'. But really it is! The sun is out which raises the temperature in the house by at least 10. The sun is awesome up here. The radio just keeps saying they can't believe it is mid-November and we don't have snow... AH! SNOW! We are ready for that too though. Jason has the blower on and I am all practiced up and ready to take it on. We got our garage set up the other day so that we could have both vehicles in and able to drive the lawn mower out the doors without moving either vehicle. WA HO!

My mom and dad will be leaving for their baby arrival/Thanksgiving trip up North in one week! I am so excited to have my whole family here! I know, everyone thinks I am nuts. I am so excited to host my whole family... siblings, spouses and kids... for Thanksgiving. This will be the first time everyone has been to MY house. Little sister has grown up. We just BETTER have 2 kids by that time. I never thought the fear of this baby arriving late would be an issue... I am beginning to worry now. My Dr. told me last week she wouldn't let me go much past 1 week over. That is the 28th!!! PAST Thanksgiving... and the day everyone is going to be leaving. I will do what I can to convince her that we need this baby BEFORE Thanksgiving. She is a tough chick though... I am not sure I will be doing much to cross her.

Sorry no pics. I just wanted to send out an update on the baby while I had a couple minutes. Hope all are staying healthy!

Not much else is new here in ND. Just waiting on the baby, which I am not very good at. Kamille has her "nesting list" we are picking away at it one by one, and we will be more than ready when #2 joins us in the world! The weather is suppose to be DRY all week!!! I am very excited, hopefully this means I won't have to worry about a broke combine at Christmas!! The Sugar Beets are 90 to 95% out, which is good, since that is the main cash crop. They are working on getting out the remaining dry beans, which have greatly increased in price lately, which is a huge plus. Happy farmers = Happy Jason. Next will be soybeans, which will go quick and the reports on the corn are mediocre at best. Some varieties didn't make black layer before the frost, so they will be disked under. Other varieties will be very wet with low test weight, another year not to have corn in ND.

Well, that about wraps the update on my girls, weather, and the crops...Have a good day, Jason

No freezing in our garage~

We are preparing ourselves for winter, or at least as much as you can prepare for a ND winter. Jason has been wanting to get a heater up in our garage since we moved in last Feb. As of tonight, it is accomplished. After consultation with the family electrician (Thanks Jeff!), he felt good enough to do all the work without waiting for anyone to come assist. He did fantastic. Of course, I am sure it had a lot to do with his little assistant. She walked around with a screw driver and cut wire "fixing" everything in sight. Quite adorable. I, on the other hand, was forced to sit in my reclining deck chair (massager included) and supervise. I feel worthless. It does pump out the heat! We are now ready for the cold blasts of winter to head our direction.

Baby #2 is only about 3 weeks out. We are as prepared as we can be without knowing what this little munchkin will be. I packed my bag tonight. Amazing how much lighter you pack after this has been done before. I printed my hospital bag list that I used with Ella. I was WAY over prepared with WAY too much time on my hands. I am getting a bit more uncomfortable these days. Seem to have more cramping of muscles and body parts going numb with this one. I am told it is because this is the 2nd time around and that the baby is sitting VERY low. We'll see if this one will just slip out... HA!

Hope everyone is staying healthy. So far so good up here~

18 month appt... at 19 months.

We had Ella's 18 month Dr. appt scheduled about a month ago but had to reschedule due to conflicts. However, we did get in today to see the Dr today. Ella is growing very nicely. The Dr. says she is doing great and normal... I would question normal on some days. But I will go with it.

She is 33.5 in tall and 26 lbs. She is still in the 90th percentile in her height. We did jump up a bit on the percentile scale for her weight. She is now in the 75th percent. She is a solid little thing. I would have sworn she would have come in weighing more, but I guess that has a lot to do with the extra I am carrying around and not her.

We had a first today at lunch. Usually Ella is just so excited about eating she can't wait to get into her chair, finish her food and hand over her plate and cup. Today was a bit stressful and exhausting apparently though. She fell asleep! I just couldn't believe it! Right in the middle of putting something in her mouth she passed out. After these photos I cleaned her up and put her right in bed.

I mentioned the stressful day. The worst in my almost 19 months of being a mom. I locked Ella in the car at Target. LONG story short, she is out of the car and no longer locked inside. Thanks to OnStar of course. As I have said before I will NEVER be without OnStar if I have any control over it. Talk about panic. That is the worst feeling. I hope to never, ever do that again.
